Pleasant trails within town limits. There are several high spots that provide a great view of the town. Plenty of deer, grey squirrels, cardinals and blue Jays amongst other fauna to be seen. Great for a short hike or to find a spot to get away for a bit. Decent parking lot and trails are maintained.
It's a small but very nice park. You can enjoy all its trails in about one hour. I love those secret paths hidden in woods, and it's really a pleasure to walk there in all seasons. If you have friend living around, it's a best option to visit this park together.
This park is a hidden gem in the middle of Rochester. There are trees, wandering trails, and nice overlooks into the Rochester neighborhoods below. If you are in Rochester and looking for a quick 1.5 mile hike, this is a good place to go.
