SILVER LAKE PARK REVIEWS
Awesome park for short walks and strolls around the lake. I went here with my girlfriend and did a quick walk around the lake. It's a lot better than it used to be and the geese are rarely there anymore. We saw a wide variety of duck and goose which was fun to see. The walk itself is a little challenging and has some hills to it, but all in all it was a great little break from working. I would definitely recommend on a nice summer day. There is also a bridge at the beginning that is fantastic for photos (showcased in my pictures) if you're looking for senior pics look no further than right there! Will definitely come back to walk it again soon!
I found a body of water and made a friend. This little guy sure was friendly, and I didn't feed him he just wanted some love. Beautiful day and probably a great place in the summer... ice fishing in the winter.
From walking/cycling track to boating, you can spend a good time here while having some good walk around the lake.

FOSTER-AREND PARK REVIEWS
Great place to escape city life without leaving the city. We love the short and easy trails along the lake. Fishing pier is always fun to stand on spy on fish. We always run into deer grazing in the fields. It's a beautiful gem in our community.
Went today for the Polar Plunge. Had a blast on the 32*F water, which incidently is the temp that water freezes. But everything goes to MN Special Olympics. Well worth it.
Great place to go fishing for Rainbow Trout, has a dock for the youngsters to put a line in the water if shore fishing isn't your thing. Great family friendly swim area during the summer with huge inflatables!!

COOKE PARK REVIEWS
The epitome of a neighborhood park - convenient, friendly, decent equipment for the kids. Dogs have a nice off-leash back corner (not posted). There's the occasional day-drinker, sometimes a sleeper on the tabletop, but all comers have been harmless and/or friendly. Beautiful, mature cottonwoods line a natural berm that lend to a cradled feeling. And this is all lined by Zumbro river and the city's bike/walk trail.
I've played pickleball on the courts at Cook Park and had fun. The courts are in good condition and you are next door to Old Abe's Coffee Shop if you need a drink or bite to eat. It has been a while since I've used any of the other features at the park, but from the pickleball courts the park looks well kept.
Clean and quiet park. Dedicated legion of pickle ball players almost overwhelming the parking lot, but there are always spaces left. Lots of rabbits and squirrels.
