Marriott Riverside at the Convention Center

A very nice location right in the heart of downtown and very close to some great restaurants. I suggest Fire Grill for food and a Michelada! The M club has a good cooked breakfast with the usual eggs, bacon, sausage, oatmeal, toast, fruit, etc. Don't get rooms 1201 to 1207 as they are across from the club and the club door is a standard room door, so it slams itself shut from 6am to 11am every morning, every few minutes. We are titanium members and got a room upgrade without asking. We also had our room ready early and a mobile key in the app. The bar and restaurant in the hotel are great. The bar stays open until the crowd thins out. So if you are there on Saturday night, it doesn't end at 10pm if it's packed. I think it finally closed at 12:30? But that might not always be the case. The market could use more selection and they could stock the beer better. If they did, they'd make a killing.

I travel for work and I’ve been staying at this Marriott for almost a year during the weekdays. I have to say staff is amazing. They’re all very helpful and kind but I have to mention Susan at the lounge on the 12th floor is a hardworking and kind person. She always has a smile on her face, greets everyone and asks if anyone needs anything. The other day she even offered to bring me my toast from the toaster. Marriott is lucky to have her as their employee.

Nice hotel. Great location. Staff is friendly. Walls seem to be thick, couldn't hear folks in hallway or next door. Rooms are clean. Beds are comfortable. I love the grounds. Paying to park is the only part of disliked with it being a pricey night stay.
