Both of my parents died after long illnesses. One of my children was addicted to multiple substances. I was struggling with painful memories from childhood. My marriage was in a shaky spot. I was going through an extended episode of fibromyalgia, and I was struggling to maintain my family position as loving and supportive matriarch. I really needed help. I found Linda Guhe by searching for therapists in the St. Louis area who were members of the three leading hypnotherapist organizations. Linda was one, of only a few, who came up. It was very helpful for me to work with a skilled professional who could provide talk therapy as well as hypnosis therapy. My sessions with Linda varied ; sometimes a session would be all talk, sometimes all hypnosis, and sometimes a combination of the two. Linda told me that I'm a natural for hypnosis, but I think it was my work with her that nurtured any natural abilities I may have had. Sessions began with a discussion that usually revealed an issue to focus on during hypnosis. Sometimes on a couch, sometimes in a recliner, I would rest while Linda played my choice of soft music and talked about ways to deal with my problems.
