The Momos are out of this world — soft, juicy, and bursting with authentic Tibetan spices. You can tell they’re made with love and care. The dipping sauce adds just the right kick! The Chicken Chow Mein is equally delicious — noodles cooked to perfection, tender chicken, and crispy vegetables all tossed in a perfectly balanced sauce. Every bite feels like comfort food at its best. The staff are super friendly, and the cozy vibe makes it an easy favorite. If you’re in Boulder, don’t miss this hidden gem. Easily one of the best spots for Tibetan food anywhere!

Food was great! Super affordable prices and generous portions. We got chicken momos, noodle soup, dinner special. Everything felt like homemade food, it’s less spicy if you compare to Indian or any other Asian food but it is far better than other restaurants who add tons of cheap oils and food colors. They have lunch and dinner special! Do try, don’t expect masalas and all but a good food for your soul! I would definitely go back!

Perfect for take-out and I love coming here with my son - the mixed vegetable and spicy chicken with rice is our jam! This is a lovely modest space with authentic food from Nepal, made and served by kind and friendly folks. Chai included every time I eat here. The antidote to the over-priced and hyped vibe of Boulder. Comes for the food and enjoy the traditional music.

Lunch at The Taj was the perfect way to top off after tackling the west trailhead of Green Mountain. Two of us worked up a righteous hunger and the buffet at The Taj satisfied our hunger and need for good Indian cuisine.The lunch buffet had a large offering of delicious food - too many to detail as a matter of fact. I tried a little of many that were known to me and some I had never tried before. Everything was fantastic. Even though it was a buffet we had fast and courteous service for anything we wanted. A trip for seconds triggered an immediate clearing of the first plate so we returned to essentially a fresh table. Last, but certainly not least, there is a beautiful view of the flat irons out the west facing windows. I will definitely be returning to check out the dinner menu.

This place has never disappointed in the 22 years I've been dining here (since 2002). I've eaten off the menu a couple of times but usually hit the lunch buffet. They always have a nice selection of sides and main entrees to choose from on the buffet. The service is always friendly and quick to accommodate. The free fresh naan they bring out hits the spot and helps soak up the delicious curries on my plate. I enjoy the desert options they have but always gravitate to the rice pudding and the Gaja Ka Halwa (carrot pudding), which is absolutely amazing and hits the spot after such a wonderful meal. I highly recommend checking this place out if you are in town and searching for a Indian restaurant to dine at... search no more!

Had the buffet dinner and it was really good - lots of fresh flavors and hot entrees. All items we tried were yummy. The only mis-step was the chicken entree was over cooked so a little firmer and chewier than just right. Otherwise, service was good and food selection was spot on.
