I recently visited this restaurant for dinner, and the atmosphere was perfect for a relaxing meal. I would highly recommend dining in rather than ordering takeout, as the experience is much more enjoyable in person. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and there was always someone available to assist without having to search for help. The food was fantastic, especially the vegetable korma with garlic, which was the highlight of the meal. The mutton rogan josh was juicy and cooked to perfection, and the rice was full of flavor. They offered a wide variety of both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options, catering to all preferences. For dessert, I enjoyed the mango lassi, though they also had ice cream and gulab jamun available. By the end of the meal, I had the chance to chat with the owner, who was an incredibly kind and approachable person. He mentioned that the restaurant is available for booking events like kitty parties and birthday celebrations, which adds a nice personal touch to the dining experience. I recommend people to dine in. Come back to old days.

Been coming here for decades. One of the best North Indian punjabi restaurants in New Jersey. They have a long history and a loyal following. You can’t go wrong with anything you order. Highly recommended for a comforting meal out in a quiet atmosphere. Lots of trinkets to look at too!

URBAN TANDOOR REVIEWS

Very classy and modern restaurant! The service is very nice and we were checked in on often. We’ve tried the butter chicken, paneer tikka masala, lamb Rogan Josh, and shahi chicken kofta. Highly recommend mango lassi as well. It was a refreshing drink that balanced out the Indian spices. For me, medium spice level was good as someone who loves spicy food. Would come back again.

I came for happy hour and it was amazing! My bartender Sahram was amazing! He gave good recommendations and made the drinks really good and strong, just how I like it. I ordered curry chicken, my drinks were mint margarita, rum mojito and a chocolate espresso martini. I would definitely recommend.

Saurabh’s service was excellent and each dish – lamb shank, palak paneer, butter chicken – was very good. Clean, friendly, efficient, and gracious atmosphere. We’ll be back.

Great service and amazing food. For my dish , I got the mango curry and was able to split it with one another person. The mango curry is perfect balance and not too spicy. The waiter was so caring and helpful that he allowed me to try their sauce. I love their spicy cheese naan and their spicy garlic naan. This place will not disappoint.

We have been here multiple times and have always enjoyed our experience here. The food comes in large portions with spice-infused aroma and flavors. We also really appreciate the friendly staff who helps accommodate our dietary restrictions (dairy free). Would definitely recommend!

The food was great & the service exceptional! Recommend to anyone who enjoys authentic & strong Indian food.
