KITAKATA RAMEN BAN NAI REVIEWS
The noodles at this place are uniquely curly and chewy, unlike most thin ramen noodles. I would recommend the Spicy Miso Ramen, which is spicy and super rich, and the Umakara Tan Tan Ramen, which has a prominent nutty flavor and a generous topping of cubed pork. Vegetarian options: They have a Vegan Miso Ramen and veggie appetizers. Parking: It is a small parking lot that services several businesses. Be prepared to circle around and squeeze into tight spaces during peak hours.
Food was good - had fried chicken as the menu is heavily pork, which I don't eat. There was a vegetarian Ramen which I will try next time. Had a baby with us and they accommodate the stroller real well as he was sleeping.
Five stars isn’t enough for the experience I just had at Kitakata. The tan tan ramen is mind blowing. I can’t think of a single thing that would have made that dish any better. Delicious broth, with melt in your mouth pork belly and the most amazing homemade noodles. Our server Audrey was the sweetest. Highly highly recommended.

Anjin Japanese steakhouse is located in a strip mall in Costa Mesa with a tiny restaurant; all booths have minimal seating. It can get cramped, but they have dividers between each booth so you can have some privacy with indoor seating with high ventilation so you won’t have to worry about smelling too much like BBQ. the menu is on Soups, Noodles, Rice, Beef, Sake, Soft Drinks and House Wines. The meat quality is so good it almost has sushi like texture and just melts in your mouth. The Table Reservations were taken on directly to the restaurant itself, and the staffs were friendly, attentive, and patient with them while they were taking their orders.

ANJIN REVIEWS
Every dish we ordered was fantastic! This place is in a very busy shopping center and it can get very hectic to find parking during peak hours. There's always a wait, but totally worth it. We had kimchi, rice, salad, marbled prime rib and new york steak. I would come here for the marbled prime rib alone, it was so well marinated! Service was efficient and every employee pitched in to help all the tables. You get a most towelette and hot green tea with your check. Absolutely coming back.
Really great, fresh meat! Highly recommend the beef tongue and short ribs. Service was great! We had accidentally dropped a piece of beef tongue through the grill, and they gave us an extra piece to make up for it! Overall, it was a good experience.
This is the best Japanese BBQ in town! just mouth watering meaty goodness - absolutely amazing and I love everything on the menu.Last time I went we ordered all the oddities - intenstine, tongue, liver... Everything was just so savory and well balanced. The kimchi combo is a really good mix and don't forget to ask for romaine lettuce!! So so good.

CALIFORNIA SHABU SHABU REVIEWS
Felt like home eating here, service was amazing! The owner helped us since we were first time comers, and walked us through all the sauces, and process, and provided recommendations on how to best enjoy our meal. Food was delicious as well. Didn’t expect to walk out of here full, but man I got a major food coma after eating (rice is AYCE btw).Ordering requires each person to order their own meat plate, since everyone gets there own pot and veggies/noodles. We tried both the choice and prime beef; both options were high quality and well worth it, I’d recommend it.
First time having Shabu Shabu. I didn't know the first thing about how to Shabu Shabu but the staff were very kind and explained the whole process. The prime rib is very good and it made for a fun date experience 10/10.
I came here twice during my recent work trip to Irvine. This place is a gem! Meats, seafood and veggie plates are all fresh, with great quality. The owner is extremely nice. All staff is attentive and friendly. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience!
