This place is great - special shoutout to Andy & Elaine for making it so! Andy was so kind and helpful, his kindness and flexibility truly made our day (we were running a little late for a pick up)! Thank you Andy.

Cupcakes were very tasty and moist. My favorite was the pineapple upside down cupcake and the red velvet! 10/10 would recommend and eat again.

I am extremely picky with cake and SusieCakes stands out as the best in the OC. The cake is a perfect sponge and the frosting is flavorful and light. The whole confection is not tooth-achingly sweet. Stand out flavors are: coffee and lemon, but all of the flavors do not disappoint. My absolute favorite is the strawberry buttercream vanilla cake. You can truly taste the strawberry and it will convince you to eat more than one slice.

Ariel was amazing! Gorgeous café in sincerely, the best flavored coffee I’ve ever had. If you haven’t tried the tiramisu yet, drop what you’re doing and check it out! Fantastic flavor and actually tastes like tiramisu. Really great delicately and beautifully made yogurt cakes - perfect for treating a special birthday.

Love love love everything here, the matcha strawberry dessert really what got my attention yet everything we got was yum!! Durian cake in a jar- I ended up buying 2 more to bring home. I love durian and first cake find! The ladies working were wonderful too. I will be coming back.

I was able to try these out in California adventure park during the Chinese be year celebration. These were delightful fresh and fruity treats. We tried the lychee panda cream dessert that was paired with a green tea matcha dessert. We also tried a mango grapefruit crepe cake. They were fun to eat and look at. Highly recommend.

Super long overdue review! I had this cake made for my daughter's 1st birthday and it was amazing. Simply Sweet Cakery was not close to where we live as I'm in South Orange County, but the cake was cute AND it tasted SO GOOD so it was worth the drive. I will say, the cake was not cheap, but all our guests ate the cake and we had ZERO left overs. Sometimes you gotta splurge for your little ones first birthday and I'm happy to splurge for a cake this cute and this tasty.

I cannot recommend Simply Sweet Cakery enough. From start to finish, the service and quality were exceptional. I ordered a cake for my son’s 2nd birthday and Eddie truly went above and beyond to make it perfect. He customized one of their signature cakes to match my vision, flawlessly recreating the inspo photo I provided, and even assisted with the toppers I brought along. When the cake slightly smudged after I got home, Eddie didn’t hesitate to help. He went out of his way after hours to fix it, which speaks volumes about his dedication and care for his customers. And to top it all off, the cake was absolutely delicious! The vanilla flavour was a hit with everyone. All in all, service was exceptional, design was beautiful, and taste was delish.

Simply Sweet Cakery did a wonderful job creating my wedding cake! We knew from the tasting that it was going to be fantastic. They were very helpful with all of our crazy wedding questions during the entire planning process. We opted for a chocolate cake with strawberry filling and loved it. We will definitely be back to order on our one year anniversary.
