DELICIOUS!!!!!! These cakes are scrumptious and SUPER soft! We ordered these for our staff appreciation and they were such a hit! They offer a wide variety, so there is definitely a flavor for everybody. They even have flourless cupcakes, which didn’t appeal to me but the sweet employee Cynthia convinced me to get one and she was right, it was amazing and you couldn’t tell it was flourless! The frosting had the right amount of sweetness for me (sometimes it can be overbearing but not Susie Cakes). I also bought a slice of lemon cake for myself and that is definitely worth the calories. The lemon curd in the middle is yummy! All the staff was so friendly, especially Katie and Cynthia, who patiently waited for me to pick out the flavors. My top 3 flavors are: Red Velvet, Lemon Cake and Coconut. Our staff is spread out all over Southern CA, so I go to experience 3 of Susie Cakes' locations.

Recently had my first visit to SusieCakes and it was lovely! Large variety of cupcakes and cookies, which all looked delicious! The snickerdoodle cookie was delicious - tart and sweet and the perfect texture. The mint chocolate cupcake was absolutely fantastic! The American buttercream was heavenly and the mint flavor was great! Moist cake (not dry at all) with the perfect amount of frosting. Chelsea helped us out and gave us fantastic customer service. Thank you Chelsea!! Will definitely be back for more delicious cupcakes and great service.

Susie's is featuring their most delicious season cupcake yet, See's Candy Chocolate Bordeaux! It was incredible! Service at the Soco location is always stellar. Many of the staff have been there long term and you can tell they care about what they do enough to do it well and with a personal touch. We especially love Noe.

I was there for their special promotional day event with my kids. They had three flavor options at the time and you could only get one per person. There was only 1 container of the tiramisu flavor which was smooth, creamy and delicious. My one daughter tried the dark chocolate one and she was delighted with how it was decorated—there was a gold flake on top of hers. My other daughter tried the coconut flavor which was a pretty blue with a hint of coconut. My favorite flavor was dark chocolate while my daughters favored the tiramisu. Definitely worth trying this new bakery.

I recently stumbled upon Yu Cake in South Coast Plaza and I'm so glad I did. This charming little bakery is a hidden gem that truly deserves recognition. From the moment I stepped inside, I was greeted by a delightful aroma of fresh-baked goods and a warm, inviting atmosphere. The cake selection was simply stunning. Each creation was a masterpiece, beautifully decorated with intricate details and vibrant colors.

The cakes here are absolutely delicious, with a perfect balance of sweetness and texture. The cozy atmosphere makes it a great spot to relax and enjoy a treat. Friendly staff and quick service complete the experience—highly recommend!

Simply Sweet Cakery made the wedding cake of my dreams. They were very responsive, helpful, and professional throughout the process. I knew exactly the cake I wanted and provided them with photos and they did not disappoint. Not only was the cake visually stunning, but the cake itself was moist and delicious. We tried six different flavors to land on the three that would go on each tier of the cake. The tasting cakes were mini cakes to go which helped to make it easy and let family members try in the fun too. Overall, we were very happy with their service and final product.

We reached out to Simple Sweet Cakery to make our wedding cake and they were very courteous and communicative the entire time. We got to pick up a cake tasting kit to choose our flavor and the cake was ready on time and convenient to pick up. Most importantly it was insanely delicious and everyone including people who claimed they weren't big cake fans loved the cake!

Simply Sweet made an adorable and delicious cake for my sister’s baby shower! I would definitely use them again for a special occasion!
