MATSU JAPANESE RESTAURANT REVIEWS

A fantastic fusion of cultures, both in the food and atmosphere. The setting was elegantly designed with a warm, contemporary feel that made us feel relaxed right away. The service was friendly and attentive; we didn’t have to wait long for our food, and the staff was more than happy to explain the ingredients in each dish. As for the food, the flavors were absolutely incredible. The miso-glazed salmon was cooked to perfection, and the pad Thai had just the right amount of sweetness and spice. A truly enjoyable meal.

I'm no expert in sushi, but this was wonderful. I sat at the sushi bar and asked for the bluefin and amberjack, which were yummy. Then I asked the sushi chef to choose for me, and he gave me pieces of toro, which were fantastic. And next a house special hand roll, with shrimp, crab, and veggies in soy paper. So very good.

Absolutely obsessed with everything about this restaurant! The atmosphere is so cozy, the staff incredibly welcoming, and the food absolutely delicious. Can’t wait to come back and try their boat.

KABUKI JAPANESE RESTAURANT REVIEWS

The food was very fulfilling and I enjoyed it. They have options of sushi, hibachi rice, soup, and more. I chose the option of the beef soup with vegetables, and it was delicious. It came with a salad and rice as well. Besides the soup, there was the option of other entrees including pork, chicken, beef, shrimp, and combinations of them. If you would like great Japanese cuisine Kabuki is the place to go.

Over all reaction from my group: "Happy hour slaps." The food looked and tasted amazing! Service was great! Patrick answered every question we had and was so kind and a wonderful. Tina was great too! The food came out quickly and was perfect for sharing. The happy hour deal doesn't run on Saturday and Sunday.

You can't beat this happy hour. The place definitely does the trick and the location is nestled in a little social commons area at Bella Terra Mall. Service is pretty good: most of the staff is friendly. However, they do get busy because happy hour is quite popular.

GYU-KAKU JAPANESE BBQ REVIEWS

This is a regular spot, we've come here for years. Today we were lucky to time our meal to include lunch AND happy hour. The assortment of meats are nicely marinated and flavored. We love the garlic cabbage salad and fried rice add ons. The venue is starting to wear out. The seats were sat in had no cushion left and the tables had a tacky feel, albeit clean, from years of use. The music is usually loud which makes it hard to talk and becomes increasingly more difficult as it gets crowded.

Definitely one of the most delicious bbqs I've had in quite a very long time. Due to COVID all you can eat was not available so we went with a 4-person course meal (we were on 3 people), and man each and every one of us were in our happy place! Great food, very friendly and accommodating staff, I highly recommend you check this place out, especially if you've never had Japanese BBQ before.

Always a great experience here. Joe is a great server. He is always attentive and professional. The food is excellent. I miss dining inside but they have patio dining during the pandemic. Unfortunately, they only have 3 tables outside. Arrive early. It's totally worth it.
