SHOGUN JAPANESE RESTAURANT REVIEWS
We came for my boyfriends birthday and loved it! The food was very good, the server we had was absolutely amazing, and everyone was so nice! We got the teriyaki entree, which was hands-down the most flavorful! That dinner included miso soup which was great, and the house salad with a wonderfully flavorful dressing. We got the spring rolls and crab Rangoon - the CR was incredible, the spring rolls were a little mushy and not super flavorful but still good! We got the Kani salad which was spicy, flavorful, and delicious! We had the Vegas Roll and the Passion Roll - the PR was great, the VR was good, the seaweed was a little chewy but overall still good flavor! He tried the regular Long Island and said it was good, strong enough, and worth the price! Overall our experience was great, the food was delicious, and we had a great time! Next time we'll try to get a seat for the Hibachi!
I was very pleased by Shogun. The staff was polite and helpful. The service was fine. The robot delivering you food is really cool. The food was very good. The hot n sour soup was one of the best I have ever had. I recommend this place to anyone who loves Asian food.
Food was phenomenal, I can't complain one bit. If you want a seat tho, you'll have to call in advanced and get a reservation so as soon as you walk in you can be seated quickly.

HOKKAIDO REVIEWS
Super fast and friendly service! The food was delicious! Big restaurant, tons of seating, lots of sushi choices and a sushi chef on hand! Plenty to choose from on the menu ranging from sushi to Korean to Asian to hibachi. I got stir fried rice and chicken stir fry with vegetables and it was delicious! Can’t want to come back and try more things! They’ve also got a seating section with hot pot tables that allow you to cook your own Korean bbq if you wish. Super cool!
The best place in mid Illinois for Asian cuisine. The best place for sushi, hibachi, bubble tea. There is a cat cart robot that delivers food from the kitchen to the front of the shop that has a cute cat face and plays a jingle that just makes you freaking smile. And lastly the staff is what makes all these things come together. Great place!
The sushi was excellent. The eel nigiri wasnt what I was used to. May skip next time. Had all you can eat deal. Really enjoyed it. Good atmosphere. All the food looked amazing. Fun.

OKINAWA HIBACHI SUSHI RAMEN REVIEWS
The atmosphere is nice -- nothing special, but nice. The food was excellent. They have a wide variety of entree, appetizer, and sushi options and time between ordering and food delivery was decent. Prices were reasonable for 2 people -- 1 entree, 1 bowl of soup, 2 different sushis and 1 soft drink -- the bill was just over $50 (including tip). It was well worth the visit and would definitely go again!! Parking: We went on a Saturday evening and CampusTown was busy. Was still able to find a spot that wasn't too far away, but be aware that you may need to walk a little ways on a busy evening.
It's hard to explain how good this place is! The staff was really friendly and accommodating to dietary restrictions. I tried the vegetarian miso and the shoyu broths with the steak and shrimp toppings and both were A+. I also tried the crab rangoon dip appetizer and several of the sushi rolls, everything was amazing! I'm still full from my meal here and I already can't wait to go back again.
We stopped in Peoria for the day to look around. Obviously that meant we had to try some local sushi. We had spicy tuna and sweet potato sushi rolls. We also had a build your own ramen bowl. Both hit the spot. Very delicious.
