JONAH'S SEAFOOD HOUSE REVIEWS

My husband and I were celebrating our 5 year wedding anniversary. We were very impressed with how fresh and flavorful everything at Jonah's was. The calamari was the most tender we have ever had from anywhere. The filet mignon was extremely tender, seasoned well, and cooked perfectly to our preference (medium rare). The lobster tail and Alaskan King crab legs were juicy and tender. They also gave us a massive slice of chocolate cake on the house for our anniversary! That was a nice surprise! Expect to pay a fairly premium price, but everything was delicious and as fresh as it could be, as if it had just came from the ocean.

LOVE a nice evening at the Oyster Bar. I’m not a seafood person so you’d think I’m in the wrong place, but being accompanied with seafood fans this is where we go. Lots of tasty non seafood options as well. Everything was delicious, top notch service! Picture is a filet mignon quesadilla, and the Cuban sandwich. Also got the fat fries. Everything was amazing. Don’t forget about the drinks and the chocolate cake!

We had an absolutely excellent fresh seafood dinner that was a cut above. Anything else that we've been to. Excellent assortment on the menu.

Very calm atmosphere and they had tvs playing sports and news. The food was good. I got the classic seafood combo #1 (1/2 lb shrimp 1/2 lb snow crab, 1 egg, 1 potato, 1 corn) I also added 1/2 lb sausage. my husband got the holy crab combo #3 (1/2 lb snow crab, 1/2 lb shrimp, 1 lobster tail, 1 potato, 1 corn, 1 egg) we split the lobster tail and sausages. We also got sodas for drinks and spent about $89.15 before tip. It was so worth it. I got mine as HOT with Cajun, lemon pepper, and garlic butter. it still was delicious. Next time I’ll get the extra hot.

My Husband and I ate here for our date night and it was delicious!!!! Thank you for a great place to eat!!!!

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Peoria, specifically for celebrations. I love fish/seafood. Preparations of the fish dishes are sooo delicious, quality of the fishes I found really good. So far we have tried Chilean Sea Bass blackened (melting in mouth), Tunisian King Salmon stuffed (so tasty) and their signature Oyster Rockefeller (must try). The ambience, service and everything was perfect, worth the price. Would definitely recommend.

The Fish House in Peoria, IL, is a gem! The food is always fresh and delicious, with excellent seafood options that never disappoint. The cozy atmosphere makes for a relaxed and enjoyable dining experience. Plus, its convenient location makes it an easy choice for a great meal. Highly recommend!
