BENIHANA REVIEWS
Quality food, every time. I recommend making a reservation if you plan to sit at the chefs table, otherwise on most days you can eat at the bar (all ages). We come to the chefs club table ever year for birthdays and it’s great! The kids portions are huge (soup or salad, white rice, zucchini, onion, corn, shrimp your choice of chicken, steak, filet, or shrimp and ice cream)The chefs are super friendly and have great jokes and do well with children. The steaks are high quality and sushi is fresh. This is the place to go to if you are looking for great food and a great experience.
Chef Juan from Colombia was excellent. Two young girls at table, made a 'Mickey Mouse' fried rice. No issues with check-in or service. People complain too much on here, show up with the right attitude. And ask for Juan!! Kid-friendliness: Fantastic with 2 young girls at our table.
It has been a while since I visited here. It's better to make a reservation for this place. Very professional staff and the servers and cooks are all amazing. The food was cooked right in front of me. It was hot, fresh, and excellent. I recommend the trio that includes soup, salad, steamed or fried rice, trio being chicken, filet mignon and shrimp, and dessert.

Ramen Yamadaya is a cozy ramen shop located in Torrance between a skate shop and the busy 405 Freeway. With only six tables and bar seating that opens to the kitchen, the restaurant has a simple and unassuming atmosphere. Families with young children are also accommodated with high chairs. The owner, Jin Yamada, takes pride in their specialty dish, tsukemen, which features cold noodles with a choice of toppings and a warm dipping sauce. Ramen Yamadaya's tsukemen uses a tonkotsu-based dipping sauce, and it is their most popular item. In addition, the restaurant serves various Tokyo-style ramen options, such as tonkatsu shoyu ramen, which is a fusion of tonkotsu broth, soy sauce, and black sesame paste. Ramen Yamadaya is the most preferred place for lunch and dinner in Torrance, CA.

RAMEN YAMADAYA REVIEWS
Nice little hole-in-the-was place! The food was delicious and luckily there was little-to-no wait when I arrived! Customer service was impeccable! The lady that served us was very kind, attentive, and even offered us some extra curry when my brother's curry plate seemed to run a little low. After we were done we were surprised with a little scoop of ice cream, which was very delightful, the cherry-on-the-top to this already great experience. We ordered the bulgogi kimbap, curry ramen with chicken katsu, and tonkatsu ramen. The food looked amazing and the taste definitely matched! I would definitely come back to try out their other food options.
We have been going here for 10 years. Great avocado rolls, osaka seafood and vegan ramen. Friendly and informative service from Mona . She took time to explain the ingredients for the vegan broth from the chef. Nutritious, delicious and served with a smile.
It's been a minute since I was last in. But I'm glad I stopped in for dinner. The ramen was delicious. Broth was rich and deep in flavor. Chewy noodles with all the toppings included, chashu, bamboo, nori, egg, green onions. We had Tonkotsu Yamadaya ramen, tsukemen, Yamadaya bun and kaarage. So glad they are doing well. Will be back.

KAGURA TORRANCE REVIEWS
Donkatsu is served in original Japanese style. Sauce itself is in familiar taste but addition of MUSTARD and crushed sesame seeds results in deep savory flavor. Katsu and croquette were properly cooked and felt warm & soft in mouth. I tried Millefeuille Katsu Gozen, multi-layered sliced black pork loin cutlet, and this tasted very juicy and tender. Particularly, it's really juicy and met my expectation. Excellent! Real Japanese style exotic interior, novel taste of miso soup are just a few of many things that come across my mind about this place. Next time, I will try their Premium Filet Katsu Gozen as filet katsu has always been my favorite type of donkatsu. This time, I just tried another. Ranked as my #1 katsu place in CA. Wow~
Excellent restaurant for Tonkatsu!! It was fantastic and my step-dads miso black cod just melted in your mouth. The service was quick and friendly, the interior was simplistic and calming. Although it is a bit of a way from Irvine, I will keep going back...it's worth it. BE SURE TO RESERVE! They get really busy.
Great Japanese restaurant! Katsu was perfect, uni pasta is our favorite. Came around 6pm and had to wait 20 minutes. Staff was nice and service was fast. Def would come back again!
