“Tahoma National Cemetery is a United States National Cemetery in Kent, WA and the Cemetery is in unincorporated King County. The Cemetery encompasses 158.3 acres and, as of the end of 2019, had over 60,000 interments, compared to the end of 2008 with 23,479 interments and 15,924 interments in 2005. The National Cemetery is open to all armed forces members who have met a minimum active duty service requirement and were released under conditions other than dishonorable. Tahoma National Cemetery has a Memorial walkway containing 36 memorials commemorating soldiers of various 20th-century wars contributed by multiple service organizations. These veterans provide tributes to 90 percent of the veterans interred here. The Association comprises The American Legion, Disabled American Veterans, Elks Club, Veterans of Foreign Wars, and other organizations.
