Truly amazed at the research center above the museum!! It’s so fascinating; all the historical photos, articles and books they have from the 1800s. I went the other day to check out old pictures of West Onondaga Street and all the Victorian mansions they used to have before they were demolished. Extremely sad the city let that street fall into such disrepair, but it was extremely interesting to learn about the cities past! Thanks for your help Marie!
The museum is amazing, but the Come in from the Cold exhibit warmed my heart. I just loved this exhibit, it was everything I was hoping for when I saw it advertised! Great job with the displays, the accompanying photos and historical information! Loved this. So many great displays there to see but this was one I am glad I didn't miss!
If you have the chance to hear Robert Searing speak at the museum or in the community, DO IT. He gives extremely engaging, funny, and informative lectures. New and long-time residents are sure to learn something interesting.
