“Utah Cultural Celebration Center (UCCC) was created to provide a space where people from all walks of life can come together to share, nurture ideas, and inspire, as well as to learn from one another and enjoy arts and cultural experiences, concerts, and performing arts. The Utah Cultural Celebration Center is also a place for individuals, seminars, ceremonies, and other groups to gather for conferences, businesses, and other special events. The cultural center has functioned as the primary facility for the Division of Arts and Culture, providing events, arts programming, and arts education opportunities for West Valley citizens and the greater Wasatch Front. The decision to change its name reflects its growth as an organization, its desire to be more inclusive of the community, and better demonstrate its mission and purpose.”
