I very much endorse Skywood Landscaping for the recent work this company has done for me. My project was to replace dilapidated fences and 40-year old wooden retaining walls on two lot lines. My desire was for an interlocking block retaining wall for the appearance, stability, and permanence over a simple replacement wooden wall. I solicited three proposals, and Ken's was neither the cheapest nor the most expensive. What won me over was that he is clearly knowledgeable in this exact work, and also super friendly and easy to work with. He patiently guided me through design considerations, materials selection, and the city permitting requirements. With his help, I opted for Belgard wall blocks in a staggered pattern, with complimentary grey cap blocks. The actual on-site construction phase went quickly and without significant disruption. Ken even arranged temporary fencing at no cost to contain the local house hound while the fences were down. The pictures show the before and after, the new wall and fences. My wife and I are both avid gardeners, so the garden space above the wall is currently being planted with a variety of water conserving natives and succulents.

We hired Skywood to transform a portion of our backyard from an unusable overgrown area to a beautiful picturesque lawn. Ken did the initial design work, and then he and his team did the work, which included a retaining wall, new fence, and irrigation, in addition to putting in the lawn and hedges. It was a pretty large project, and they managed to complete it in one week, and they did an excellent job. Five stars: I would definitely recommend.

The Sanchez Brothers did a conversion from grass to a water wise landscape. I should mention it was St. Augustine grass which made a couple of landscapers cringe at the thought of removing over 2500 square feet of it. We kind of knew what we wanted but frankly we were all over the place. We obtained a few bids, but we just didn't have a real good feeling about what the final outcome would be. Then along came Manuel from The Sanchez Brother's landscaping. Not only was he professional but he made us feel comfortable about the project and told us he would work with us. He was very flexible and understanding during our indecisiveness. Once the project was underway, he and the rest of the crew were so nice and professional. They literally held our hands through the entire process. I would joke that they had to babysit us . We are so happy with the final project and VERY happy with The Sanchez Brothers themselves. They removed the old turf, installed weed block and rocks. They also installed paver blocks, a flower bed, converted to a drip irrigation system, installed mulch, plants and electric landscape lights.

Hired Manny and his team to prune our many fruit trees and do a fall yard clean up. Everything looks great! They were on time and professional through the entire job. I highly recommend.
