After a very bad experience with a previous landscape contractor, I was very diligent and did my homework. I got at least 10 quotes, read reviews and basically interviewed each contractor I was considering. Marcus and his companies' reviews were excellent and pictures of his work on Facebook were beautiful. I was looking for this quality of work. Price wises his quote was in the same range as most of the other contractors, but the quality of his work impressed me. My project was pretty large which included: concrete work, artificial turf, a retailing wall with recess lighting, a drip and drainage system, plants, side yard with DG and raised planter beds. I told him my budge and I gave him a rough design and pictures of specific things/ materials I wanted. We went through the design together and he made recommendations I did not even think of. Marcus and his team are the best in Modesto area to create any custom front or backyard . We bought a new building in 2021, and the builder-grade front yard was the first thing we wanted to get rid of. I had vision and I showed Marcus what I wanted he designed the whole entire front and created the look we wanted. Project was clean and done on timely manner. I recommended sunset landscaping to our friends and family as well.

We had sunset landscaping do a couple jobs for us for a new house we just moved into. He removed trees, fixed a plumbing issue in our waterfall for our pool and we had them remodel our pool with pebble tech, tile, and new led lights!
