I have been associated with Maple Counseling Center for the last two years as I earn my hours towards marriage and family licensure. I couldn’t have asked for a better placement to begin my career. The owner Destiny was warm and welcoming from day 1. She provided me a space to learn in addition to supervision where I received the perfect blend of nurture and critique. It was nice to be led by a person in the field who shows up as their authentic self combined with the necessary professionalism. Furthermore, at Maple I was afforded the experience of working with a wide range of clientele. Words cannot explain how valuable it was towards my clinical growth to have worked with children, teens, couples, men, women, older individuals all in the same day. If you are looking for therapy services, Maple has great clinicians. I have referred several inquiries to other clinicians here whom are loving their therapeutic experience. As I move on to pursue working with at risk youth, I reflect on just how lucky I was to have spent time at Maple Counseling.

I am writing this review because I signed my son up for therapy at maple counseling after his Dad passed away. My son was seeing Shane B. He worked so well with my son. He met him where he was at and was able to connect with him. He made therapy fun for my son and my son was able to have a positive experience in therapy. Most children either have a preconceived negative thought or look at therapy as a punishment. Shane was able to change that thought process for my son and give him a great experience, while working on core issues. I am grateful for this experience and I would recommend Shane B and Maple counseling to anyone looking for a good therapy experience.

We have had a very pleasant experience with maple counseling center since the very beginning. They have exceeded my expectations. My son feels very comfortable with his Therapist Shane. He has helped him in some many ways and for that I’m very thankful. My son looks forward to his therapy sessions with Shane.
