We love coming here for the yummy margaritas and delicious fajitas. The steak and shrimp fajitas are amazing. Fast service and quality mexican food.

We rate this gem the best Mexican food we’ve had in California. In fact we’ve gone out of our way and stayed overnight just to go here. The warm chips and salsa to start are a precursor of the well executed menu. I love Chile Rellenos and you won’t find any better ones than here. Enchiladas, Carnitas and so much more are all excellent. The rice and beans which in many Mexican restaurants are an afterthought are delicious and we clean our plate every time. I’m generally not a beer drinker but they have Dos Equis on tap served in a large cold schooner. It’s too perfect a pairing to pass up. I have brought many guests here and they all have left happy. I even brought someone who’s not a fan of Mexican food and he left vowing to return on his own. I wasn’t surprised. While I’m writing this I’m getting a yearning for a Combo PlateI guess it’s time to plan another road trip to La Cocina.

What a great experience! Armando was our host and for our family of 6 he was on it! Great food, great flavor. Ask for their home made hot salsa. Game changer.

My friend and I, absolutely loved this place. It’s affordable and the food is delicious. For a first time here we had a great time. The employees are very friendly, and very attentive even employees that were our server! That’s why I’m leaving a review, Isabel C. was great! Were from Georgia, but when we visit again, I will be back.

Wonderful local restaurant to have authentic delicious Mexican food. Come with patience since it is very busy. We waited for an hour for a table of 7 on a Sunday. Service was wonderful however just a bit lacking due to the hectic atmosphere. Other than that, loved the restaurant decor. Totally recommend the Chilaquiles Special. Totally worth the price and perfect for sharing.

The food is absolutely delicious and we got the best waitress Marcela!.

There is something special about Casa Vieja, and that is Caesar, the best server around. Every once in awhile an amazing waiter will make your experience just perfect. We found the food very good and I was impressed with the special margarita Caesar recommended. Recently, we have been ordering the fajitas for two, it has become one of our favorites. It's a fun restaurant and can be quite busy!.

My server was Malena was AMAZING! She was soon polite and attentive.... Such a great vibe overall and the food was delicious!.

Amazing chicken, amazing fish, amazing drinks, fantastic bartender.
