ABUELO'S MEXICAN RESTAURANT WICHITA REVIEWS

Very nicely decorated and comfortable. Our waitress did a spectacular job, she was friendly & very attentive. The chips are very good, 3 different options of salsa were brought out, the tomatillo salsa is my favorite. I chose the chicken fajitas, as great choice, large portion, very good flavors. In our group of 4, everyone was pleased with their order. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Such a pretty place! The inside is very open and nice. The servers always do a great job. Very well trained. I love the mild salsa. It is smokey and had a chipotle pepper flavor to it. The spicy cheese dip is not very spicy but it is delicious. I loved my fried smothered burrito. My husband loved his food.

Good amount of food for the price. The service was amazing and the atmosphere was nice. Hubby and I both got the meal pictured, it was $22.00, well worth it, we both brought leftovers home.

My husband and I went for lunch today. I haven't been for many years and my grandparents used to take me in the 70's. My husband had a margarita, and it was great. Our food was wonderful and I got a little misty eyed thinking about how my grandad would have enjoyed it too. Thanks for a delicious lunch with a side of sweet nostalgia. And our waiter, Joseph and all the staff were awesome too! We will be back! Eat local!.

We’ve come here for 2 years regularly. ALWAYS phenomenal service. They work as a team. Friendly and fast! Food is always great.

Had a very enjoyable lunch here today,!! I highly recommend this place for a good meal at a decent price.

The food and service were great! My wife and I enjoy coming to this restaurant. I wanted to give a shout out to Cesar! I left my debit card on the table inside the restaurant—on my way home I realized I didn’t have it. I return to the restaurant and he handled it to me personally! I really appreciate his honesty and service! Give him a raise! Thank you again!.

Queso was hot and very creamy! Chips were kept full, server was great!! The food- phenomenal- the shrimp nachos- highly recommend!!! Cooked perfectly, from the peppers to the onions and the shrimp was perfection!! Taco salad was also awesome, abundance of food!! Very fresh ingredients, very quick service.

Had a very wonderful time!! They hosted a birthday party for my Tia (Aunt) Mary and we loved it!! The food was the best and everyone agreed. And we are a Mexican family, if that makes a difference. It's definitely a place that you should eat at, if you like mexican food, they are top tier!!!.
