Mexico Clasico

Our first time here. We were visiting Rockford and thought we would stop and try it. We were not disappointed. The salsa is delicious. Not to spicy and a little bit sweet. We had a chicken taco salad and their specialty, the Mexico Classico chicken breast wrapped around ham and queso cheese, covered in their red sauce. It was absolutely fabulous. It was so good I can't wait to go back and try it again. Service was good, drinks were good. I highly recommend if you're in Rockford. They also offer carryout. We were there on a very cold below zero day, and the they were busy.

If you are a picky eater this place isn’t for you. But it is as my coworker said. Best Mexican in Rockford. I had the steak fajitas chimichangas and I was STUFFED after just half! Loved it! And will go again when I have enough room for dessert. Hopefully some fried ice cream!!

This is a restaurant that knows what they are doing!! The food is always delicious...the kind of delicious where you know you have leftovers in your fridge and you can't wait to get home to be able to eat it (the next day)! Not super pricey either! And the staff is always fantastic! Drinks were good too!
