Absolutely fantastic experience! The food was exceptional – every bite was full of flavor, and the tandoori items were especially outstanding. Even the coffee was surprisingly great! The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, and the service was top-notch. What really stood out was the chef personally coming out to talk to us about the food – such a thoughtful touch. We spent nearly two hours there and enjoyed every moment. Nothing felt average; everything was above and beyond. A must-try spot for anyone who loves Indian cuisine.

Very good food quality and variety. Clean, cozy atmosphere, good service. Dined with a group of 5, and shared a lot of dishes. A couple people were new to trying indian cuisine, and they really enjoyed it. Everything was delicious and we all took home a styrofoam food container of what we enjoyed the most. They have rose lassi and rose icecream amongst other delectable items you don't normally find on a menu to try.

Awesome freshly made food, fantastic service, amazing ambiance... Trifecta Definitely give it a try! You will not be disappointed. Kunoor based chef John Raj brings the feeling of home to this fantastic new restaurant Vanakkam.

HOUSE OF INDIA REVIEWS

Eat at this restaurant twice a year (do not live near) and really enjoy it. We like spicy food and the chili Pakora is spicy an delicious (order with seeds left in if you want real heat). Fish Tika Marsala is very good, Lamb Vinderloo and Chicken Chili Marsala are excellent. Garlic Naan was good as well as Safron Rice. Overall really enjoy having dinner at this restaurant.

We stopped here for food after visiting Anderson Gardens and was expecting an average fair but were surprised by delicious c authentic indian food with good portion sizes.

Amazing food! I went a little earlier in the day so my friend and I were the first ones there. I will say that it is a very quiet restaurant, at least when I went. Very good portion sizes for the price.
