My wife and I were well into the process of finding and purchasing a new (temporary) forever home and we had been looking for our recent find for a whopping six years. During that six years I had been asking I don't know how many times for a preapproval letter from a different lender (not the Wendy Thompson Lending Team). The loan officer from this other lender had spent a lot of time with me over the last six years, and she was always professional, and 100% responsive so going into shopping for closing I already had a great deal of loyalty. On our previous home purchases when we were much younger and lets face it ignorant, we didn't know to shop. This time I did thanks to more experience and a stellar buyer's realtor. I wasn't crazy about the first rate I was quoted (of course who is now that rates have gone up from recent past lows), so I contacted Wendy Thompson Lending Team at my realtors recommendation. Wendy was able not only beat the rate the same day, but significantly beat the rate! Wendy is knowledgeable and nice, but above all extremely honest. She always does her best and her knowledge allows her to give you the best rate out of the starting gate. In the end I was compelled to not chose the Wendy team for our financing (this time only) because the other loan officer that I had the established loyalty with was able to match twice. We will one hundred percent choose Wendy next time if there is a next time. I highly recommend; you will not be disappointed you at least checked with her.
