“2026 Update: Arizona Museum of Natural History shows the natural and cultural history of the Southwestern United States. They cultivate curious communities empowered by the exploration of science, culture, and lived experience. The main museum complex is nearly 74,000 square feet, and 46,000 square feet has exhibitions. They feature more than 60,000 historical objects. They are known for Dinosaur Mountain, a three-story indoor exhibit with animatronic dinosaurs and a simulated flash flood that occurs every 30 minutes. They offer a discounted rate through the Museums for All signature access program. Free admission for children ages 0–2, American Indians with Tribal ID or CIB, CPS or Disability Caretakers, and teachers with a Preview Pass. They are conveniently located in Downtown Mesa, close to the light rail station. There is plenty of parking on the street and in free public parking areas around the Museum.”
