MUSIC HOUSE SCHOOL OF MUSIC REVIEWS

Our 15-year-old son has been at Music House for 2 years. His confidence in his playing and his comfort in performance (he's an introvert and was quite reticent to be in front of an audience) has increased exponentially in the time he's been there. Their style of instruction has clicked for him and they have "gently" coaxed him into comfortable performance settings that have really done wonders for him, beyond traditional private lessons. He's asked for additional lessons and even played in one of their bands, results we couldn't have dreamed about the year before he started lessons.

My 8y/o son has been taking group piano lessons here for about a year and a half, and more recently added drum lessons. He absolutely loves it and the time he spends at Music House. While they certainly work on technical skills like reading music, learning scales, etc, they also get to start learning actual songs from a very early stage, which I think helps the kiddos stay engaged and not get burnt out. The staff is great and does a wonderful job with my son and the other kids in his classes. It’s a relaxed atmosphere where they make sure the students have fun and enjoy their time while learning to play music.

Music House has been a great place for my daughter to explore her interest in singing, starting with group classes and moving on into a band and private lessons. Her instructors are fun and encourage her to try new things! I've also enjoyed taking adult voice lessons there. Highly recommended.

MEYER MUSIC OVERLAND PARK REVIEWS

This is my first time renting an instrument from Meyer Music and so far it's been a great experience. When we went to rent it was last minute but they were able to assist me quickly while helping other customers. Payments are automatically deducted so that's easy. I'm hoping the rest of our experience is just as good.

Needed to swap instruments after trying one for a year, they still gave me partial equity towards different instrument and only took about 20min even though they were busy. Friendly and knowledgeable staff.

The rental process was thoroughly enjoyable. The staff was courteous, knowledgeable, and efficient and were able to answer all our questions. The prices were reasonable and the entire process was so easy. Great selection of instruments of high quality for my intermediate flute player.

MUSIC ACADEMY OF KANSAS CITY REVIEWS

This is the Place and Teacher you should look for if you are considering learning piano. I was very skeptical even try to enroll myself for a class at this age, to trace a childhood dream, which is to be able to play piano, is not easy. My teacher Alex, has been so encouraging, supporting and patience. Even though this was so new to me, I never felt intimating but encouraged. Alex never does a 'cookie cutter' module for me but tailored something really for my need and interest. He made each session fun and engaging.

Again, if you need a good teacher, look no further. You won't be disappointed. My son has been taking saxophone lessons from Nick for a year and a half. His skills and passion for playing have improved dramatically in that time! His band teacher went out of his way to let me know how impressed he is with my son’s progress since he’s been learning with Nick. I’m so grateful we found someone who inspires my kid to work hard and continue to find such joy in making music.

Nick May gives great saxophone lessons to our high school son. He keeps the music challenging and interesting to our son. My son really looks forward to his lessons and has learned so much from Nick.
