Dr. Jeff Music Lessons

My son started taking lessons from Dr. Jeff when he was in the 4th Grade and has been with him for almost three years. We interviewed two instructors and Dr. Jeff was the best fit due to his patience and ability to answer questions thoughtfully from my son. We really appreciate his extensive musical background. My son is progressing even through the pandemic. We are grateful that Dr. Jeff has accommodated us with offering virtual lessons. He is very good at selecting music for my son that is very engaging.

Dr. Jeff is a very patient teacher. There are days when I don't do my homework, and he still finds a way to make the lesson useful. He not only teaches me how to play piano but also imparts theoretical knowledge, and shares interesting trivia about the musical piece I am learning. During in-person lessons, I get to play on different types of pianos depending on the song; for e.g., on grand piano if it is a duet, on digital piano if the song requires a special type of sound, etc. Dr. Jeff has been very accommodating during the lockdown by providing virtual lessons, making video tutorials available and encouraging students to record and upload their own videos. He also hosts annual recitals for students (audience restricted to students participating), which expose students to different types of music and help them overcome performance anxiety. It has been two years since I joined Dr. Jeff's piano lessons and I am amazed by the progress I have made. I am very grateful to him for his dedication as a teacher and always look forward to the next lesson.

Dr. Jeff is a good teacher. He is good at identifying the mistakes/problems and is able to find apt exercises to overcome them. Very flexible in the way and what you want to be taught.
