One of my favorite places to go to out in Tempe, very quiet and the people that go are usually friendly. Great area for a run or a bike ride, goodie fishing room. A plus is that it's close to the bars and restaurants on mill ave. I would say the only downside is that homeless people tend to gather in the park area sometimes but they really don't even bother me so 5/5. I will continue to come here

My kids love this park. I'm a volunteer with the Tempe PD and a couple of times a week I go tend to the horses in the mounted unit housed right at Kiwanis park. Often times we will stop here first for the boys to play. The playground used to not be so great but they renovated it a couple of years ago and now it's amazing. They even have a zip line which all the kids always line up for.

LOVE this place! Have visited it both times I've been to the city. This last time I ran the 5k loop that they have nicely mapped out for you and thoroughly enjoyed it! The time before, my husband and I hiked up the rock face and looked over the city! A super beautiful place to come with your picnic and watch the sunset. Highly recommend.
