I have been seeing him for probably 20 years, he is a soft-spoken, humble, yet remarkably deep in his ability to understand your condition and treatment options. I would not trade him for any other neurologist out there. As long as he is a doctor, I will be his patient, I actually look forward to his insights and help in putting all the pieces of my various conditions in context, which is far more than any regular doctor can do. I highly recommend him without reservation..

Dr. Le is top notch! Our daughter has seen Dr. Le for 11 years. He's a compassionate doctor, and the only neurologist who has successfully treated our daughter's epilepsy..

Award-winning service. Cares for his patients. Willing to help out even on Memorial Day weekend after hours.

Dr. Shoemaker is amazing. I attempted to have a nerve test by another doctor at Hoag and had to stop because I had a panic attack from the pain. The doctor was horrible and had no bedside manner. Dr. Shoemaker spends time before procedure asking main issues, where the pain is etc. Then during the procedure it’s almost painless. He talks you through the entire thing and is very calming. I highly recommend this doctor!.

I have seen Dr. Shoemaker for 24 years and he is extremely knowledgeable, comprehensive and professional. He takes a detailed patient history and spends a lot of time with each patient to understand their specific medical situation. I highly recommend him..
