DR. OLUFEMI SOYODE, MD - CENTER FOR ADOLESCENT AND CHILD NEUROLOGY REVIEWS
Our entire experience with Dr.Soyode and his staff was wonderful. His receptionist and nurse were so friendly and sweet with my baby. They made every attempt to comfort and distract her when setting up her EEG as she was not a fan of the probes.Dr.Soyode was very kind and thorough. He was honest and explained his initial thoughts on my daughter’s symptoms and next steps. His office was very quick about getting her in and getting all of her follow up appointments scheduled. It was refreshing to work with such a small private group as you knew who you’d be seeing at each visit and knew they were familiar with your case. Dr.Soyode listened carefully as I described my daughters symptoms and recorded in her chart word for word what I described to him, which put my mind at ease because I knew he and I were on the same page and he understood my concerns. Highly recommend this practice!
We have been going to this office over 5 years (two of my girls are patients here) and have had only great experiences ! We are treated with respect from Dr Soyode and Yvonne always greets us with a smile! We appreciate them! This is Gigi thumb wrestling the Dr at the end of her appointment! He has a great rapport with kids.
Dr Soyode is fantastic. He’s kind, patient, and compassionate. We are truly thankful for him. He is genuinely concerned and committed to the wellbeing of his patients.

DAVID BURDETTE, MD - SHMG NEUROLOGY AND EPILEPSY REVIEWS
Dr.Burdette, and his team Dr.Ali are great to work with. After MANY years of Doctor appointments, changes in medication, and random hospital trips due to reoccurring seizures. Also after I had my seizure pattern change all of a sudden to only being nocturnal, and absence seizures. I had one that was really bad, and had to be put in an induced coma. I was finally referred to Dr.Burdette by my primary care doctor after almost 10 years of uncontrolled seizures. I went through many tests/appointments over the course of a year, or so to get my RNS surgery. I still have seizures every once in a while, but they're less severe, and I have a lot less of them.
I have seen numerous Dr.s due to having seizures . Dr. Burdette was recommended to me by another Dr. Dr Burdette has done every test other Dr.s never thought about doing and figured it out I have epilepsy which he figured out what seizures I have . We worked on different meds to find the right one I was on different meds at one time. A new medication came out and Dr Burdette recommended me to try it .I am now off all my meds except one that he recommended . I drove 3 hours to see him and 3 hours back because he is the best neurologist that cares about his patients. I would highly recommend him and his staff I give him 5 stars thank you Dr Burdette for all your amazing work !
Can’t say enough about Dr. Burdette-he got my seizures under control for the first time in 15 years. He -actually- listens to you and makes a treatment plan…actually he made 5. “If this doesn’t work we’ll try this” and explain why. My initial visit LONG because he is incredibly detailed. I drive 2.5 hours to see him and im near Detroit with plenty of other hospitals. He and most of his staff are absolute gems and some of the kindest people I’ve ever met.
