Dr. Ira Goldstein is a board-certified neurosurgeon who received his medical degree from the University of Chicago School of Medicine in Chicago, IL. He finished his internship and residency at Montefiore Medical Center in New York, NY. He completed his fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in Pittsburgh, PA. He is affiliated with several hospitals, including Intermountain Health Riverton Hospital, Intermountain Health Alta View Hospital, Orem Community Hospital, Intermountain Medical Center, LDS Hospital, and Utah Valley Hospital. Dr. Robert F. Heary is an expert in performing neurosurgical spine surgeries and is one of the premier physicians in providing comprehensive spine care. He graduated from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine in 1986 and completed a residency at UMDNJ. He is passionate about performing spinal cord injury research and deals with complicated neurosurgical problems. Dr. Heary completed an orthopaedic spine fellowship at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Dr. Heary recently served as the Vice President of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons (AANS). He also serves on several other nationally recognized boards and committees. He is the only neurosurgeon in the US who has been the President of both the Cervical Spine Research Society (CSRS) and the Lumbar Spine Research Society (LSRS). He has been the Chair of the AANS/CNS Joint Section on Disorders of the Spine & Peripheral Nerves. He has authored 165 peer-reviewed journal articles, over 100 abstracts, 70 book chapters, and his 4th textbook is being published in 2020. He has been on the faculty of over 300 instructional courses at national neurosurgery meetings. His academic credentials are indeed very strong.

Dr. Ahsan Sattar is an endovascular interventional neurologist in North Jersey and a proud Neurosurgeons of New Jersey member. Dr. Sattar earned his medical degree from the Aga Khan University of Karachi, Pakistan. He completed his residency training in Neurology at the University of Wisconsin in 2013. He then joined the Medical College of Wisconsin, where he completed his fellowship training in Vascular Neurology and Endovascular Surgical Neuroradiology. He specializes in diagnosing, treating, and preventing various blood flow disorders of the brain and spinal cord. Dr. Sattar’s surgical expertise includes procedures including but not limited to removing blood clots from the brain and blood flow procedures related to the treatment of brain aneurysms, angioplasties, and stenting. He also utilizes minimally invasive surgical techniques to manipulate blood flow for the treatment of tumors and other disorders. Dr. Sattar is currently accepting new patients.
