DANIEL AGHION, MD - MEMORIAL NEUROSCIENCE INSTITUTE REVIEWS
He's not only a remarkably gifted surgeon he's a remarkable man. After a horrific experience with another "Dr." we met Dr. Aghion and he couldn't have been more attentive, kind and overwhelmingly supportive. He understood the urgency and he and his staff were wonderful. He set the bar to which all others should be measured. We can't thank him enough!!!
I had surgery with Dr Daniel Aghion. Dr Aghion saved my life and I am alive because of him it's been few years and iam doing good and it was a major brain surgery and only because of Dr Aghion Iam alive today amazing Dr and amazing human being may God bless you and your family and keep doing the good work so proud of you. I always wish you all the best in everything you do lots of love.
I was attended to after a very short wait by Tracy and escorted to a room. Dr. Aghion then came in. He introduced himself and proceeded to address my concerns. He explained, in terms I was able to understand, my present situation. I left feeling I had a better understanding of my condition, and reassured that I had the right DR.

LUIS ROMERO, MD - MEMORIAL NEUROSCIENCE INSTITUTE REVIEWS
I just want to share with anyone looking for information about Dr. Romero that he truly was the most sincere, caring, and professional doctor I have ever met! I was injured during an assault- fractured c5/c6- and had to make a decision of whether to operate or not. I was terrified, as anyone with spinal issues knows there is risk and pain with either choice. I ended up cancelling the first time my surgery was scheduled minutes before it was supposed to take place because I was so scared. Most surgeons would be anything but patient and understanding, but Dr. Romero was exactly that. He came in, asked what my concerns were, and went over everything with me until I was comfortable, helped me feel better about the procedure by answering every last neurotic question I had haha, and we ended up rescheduling. My post op recovery was even better than I could have imagined, and my life is actually headed in an ever better direction than it was before the injury. Thank you so much Dr.Romero!
Absolutely fantastic doctor and staff. Knowledgeable, great bedside manner, just so happy with my visit to him. His staff Rose and Tracy are just lovely. Can’t recommend enough-would give 10 stars if I could. He took so much time explaining everything to us in such detail and in layman’s terms and then was so patient in answering all of our questions. We saw him as a second opinion and boy were we glad we did. So grateful.

SIMON BUTTRICK, MD - MEMORIAL NEUROSCIENCE INSTITUTE REVIEWS
Dr. Buttrick is hands down the BEST neurosurgeon . I unfortunately had to have a two cervical disc replacements. I originally was using Dr Buttrick as a third opinion, with no plans on using his services. I let him know this when my husband and I first met with him. He answered all of our questions and was very patient with us and he was very informative. At the end of my appointment he said that we could email him anytime if we had any questions for him. We were not going to use him for the surgery due to, what we thought was going to be an issue with the hospital being approved by our insurance because of being out on network. After more research and comparing the 3 surgeon we realized that we should use Dr. Buttrick. One more thing, he is also very thorough. Before I had my surgery he wanted me to have two additional imaging(X-ray and CT) from what my husband and I researched, this is what many surgeons request their patients do.... Unfortunately the first Dr only required MRI the 2nd Dr required CT. With all what was presented to us, we decided to see how we could use Dr. Buttrick. This is how we chose one of the BEST surgeon Memorial has to offer. His assistant Ashley was also amazing. She was very patient with my husband and I during this painful and extremely stressful time for us. She was able to deal with our insurance and the approval for the surgery and we were able to get all this done within a week and a half. Ashley kept us updated on what was going on.
Dr. Simon Buttrick has some of the most gifted hands to ever perform neurosurgery. I only have praises for this man and what he has done for me, I suffered in pain eight years before I found him and I am so thankful his cool & calm demeanor put me at ease about doing a spinal fusion, while I was giving it some serious thought it turned out that my body made the choice for me & I have only one regret and that is I wish I had met him sooner. I highly recommend Dr. Buttrick to anyone that is experiencing back pain or any pain that is unbearable. Trust me you will be glad you did.
I had a C5 & C6 fusion along with an artificial disc surgery with Dr. Buttrick. The surgery went well and I am very satisfied with my result. His staff was also very nice and my wait time was short. I highly recommend him.
