JAMES C. PINGREE, MD - WASATCH NEUROSURGERY AND SPINE ASSOCIATES REVIEWS
Dr. Pingree is very pleasant and easy to talk with. He does not rush you to get through an interview or try to talk you into a surgery. He left me very confident that I was getting the truth about my condition and the path I needed to follow to have a good result with my treatment.
Dr. Pingree demonstrates the ultimate technical knowledge expected of his role, along with a genuine concern for what's best for the patient. His practice is neurosurgery, but he wouldn't recommend it in my case, choosing instead to explain and discuss with me several more conservative means of treatment. There was little wait to be roomed, and the staff were pleasant and professional.
I felt Dr. Pingree was very thorough in what he explained would have to happen, if I had the surgery. I really appreciated the time he took with me to make me feel more assured about the surgery than other doctors I’d seen.

JOEL MACDONALD, MD - BRAIN & SPINE SALT LAKE CITY REVIEWS
My husband, David, has been under Joel's care for about a year now and had a spinal fusion surgery (L3-S1) done back in April. We've had nothing but a great experience with Dr. MacDonald, Leslie and his staff BEFORE and AFTER the surgery. They were very attentive, caring and answered all of our questions and concerns with patience and kindness. Would highly recommend Dr. MacDonald for your needs and know that you are in good, safe hands... A BIG THANK YOU TO LESLIE- YOU ARE AWESOME!
Dr. McDonald made my 75 year old Mom’s life amazing! She went in in a wheelchair and a month later walked in using a cane. The staff is very friendly and helpful and he did an outstanding job Walking us through the benefits of the procedure. We attempted to spinal stimulation through another practice, sadly they were not surgeons. If you are considering this procedure, make sure you use a surgeon. We recommend Dr. McDonald. We had a great experience at Salt Lake regional Hospital, Where Dr. McDonald conducted the procedure.
I went to see Dr. MacDonald with symptoms stemming from a chiari malformation. I knew nothing about him and saw him based off of my insurance. He was very knowledgeable about this new diagnosis in my life. He explained the causes of my symptoms and my options for treatment. I went to him for my surgery and I continue to see him for my follow ups. Dr. MacDonald has been very good to work with. He was very precise in my surgery and caring while I was in the hospital. I have been very pleased with the whole process from beginning up to now. His medical staff is easy to work with. They have been good to help me when I have forms and things that need to be filled out for my job. I have nothing but good things to say about his medical staff!
