ARNO S. SUNGARIAN, MD - UMASS MEMORIAL MEDICAL GROUP NEUROSURGERY REVIEWS
This review is referring to a surgery done 10 years ago on my boyfriend. I want to thank you Dr. for going back into the hospital when you were on your way out at the end of your shift. He could’ve died. You operated and did an amazing job. We thank Gd and you.
A year ago, Dr, Sungarian fused L3 & L4 and performed a laminectomy. I couldn't thank him and his entire staff enough. Dr. Sungarian is a professional, highly skilled surgeon. The results of my surgery have been outstanding and I have recommended him to friends.
I went to Dr Sungarian about 15 years ago for a bulging disc issue. I feel the whole experience was great and I have never had any issues since. I have referred friends to him and would gladly do it again.

OGUZ I. CATALTEPE, MD - UMASS MEMORIAL MEDICAL CENTER REVIEWS
This Neurosurgeon is the best in New England...He saved my life almost 10 years ago. I suffered with Epilepsy from birth for over 20 years. This Doctor successfully removed the area of my brain that was causing the Seizures and I’ve been seizure free since then. Their was no other Surgeon that provided me with confidence and talent he had. Thank you Dr. Cataltepe, you were right “Only 10 more seconds!”
umor was 2 inches by 1 inch in size.It was meningioma one and benign!Only pain was right after surgery on my fore head, was only on pian meds. that day in recovery.Went home 2 days after. 15 days of recovery meds.,were worse part of operation.Short term memory lost is most frustrating part.Physicaly feel fine ,slowly feelings of scalp is coming back. Most people don't believe I had surgery only this june!Scar is not noticeable.
Excellent neurosurgeon!! I had been dealing with seizures and epilepsy for almost 20 years until I had my surgery in 2017. It was a success and it’s been almost 2 years since my last seizure I’m very grateful for what he did for me.

STEPHEN M. GUTTING, MD - UMASS MEMORIAL MEDICAL CENTER REVIEWS
My experience with dr gutting so far has been positive . As I am a younger man he tried to see if there were other options that could help me . He seems like a very competent and very smart man and that makes me less nervous . I have a history of drug abuse in my past that I have been clean for an about five years but I didn’t feel judged or made less because of it and that’s important to me. Staff had been really nice and helpful.I’ve been going to doctors my whole life and I appreciated his direct demeanor . I am looking forward to feeling like myself again and am thankful I live in a time where I can have yet another second chance . I intend to make the most of my life after the procedure .
Planning on having surgery by this mans hand during the first 2 weeks of June - No hesitation when he reviewed my MRI
I’m very happy to the result of my L4L5 lamenectomy with fusion. Doctor is very skilled and has good rapport. But sorry to say the staff are terrible.
