ARNO S. SUNGARIAN, MD - UMASS MEMORIAL MEDICAL GROUP NEUROSURGERY REVIEWS
I saw Dr Sungarian for arm pain, neck pain and drop foot. He immediately sent me for diagnostics and I saw him again shortly after. His demeanor may seem a little dry but he diagnosed my issue and had me in surgery 2 weeks later. He was warm and very encouraging and has improved my life so much with this neck surgery. I'm 1 month post op and very happy with his services.
Dr Sundgarion is an excellent Dr. He listens not just hears he's patient and understanding. Dr. Removed my brain tumor and I am so grateful.
Best dr. Ever. Dr Sungarian is so kind, understanding, caring and will never rush you through his appts. He did back surgery on me and I am free of pain and back to normal. My surgery was 2015. Thumbs up to Dr. Sungarian.

GERALD T. MCGILLICUDDY, MD - UMASS MEMORIAL MEDICAL GROUP NEUROSURGERY REVIEWS
Dr McGillicudy has performed 2 back surgeries on me. He is so meticulous and caring. When you are with him you feel like his only patient. No one, but Dr. McGillicuddy, will operate on me for this problem. When you have all the nurses, anesthesiologist etc. telling you he is number 1 you know he must be.
He removed a few hundred splinters from my ruptured disc (lower back) and I was delighted with his work. As for the person who said he has no bedside manners, well he is a skilled brain and spine surgeon. Would you prefer his medical skill or a great conversation. I’ll take the skills in the OR. My friend a nurse recommended him and she is always right. He is a skilled and professional doctor.
Dr. McGillicuddy gave me all the time I needed to answer my questions and review my case. I appreciated his time and expertise in explaining the outcomes of the scans.

This doctor performed my daughter's craniofacial surgery just before her 1st birthday. He is amazing! I highly recommend him. Very kind, professional, well mannered physician. Great with young children. Very patient & explains things in a way that is easy to understand. Never rushes you through appts. I was very impressed with him from the first day I met him.
This Neurosurgeon is the best in New England...He saved my life almost 10 years ago. I suffered with Epilepsy from birth for over 20 years. This Doctor successfully removed the area of my brain that was causing the Seizures and I’ve been seizure free since then. Their was no other Surgeon that provided me with confidence and talent he had. Thank you Dr. Cataltepe, you were right “Only 10 more seconds!”
Excellent neurosurgeon!! I had been dealing with seizures and epilepsy for almost 20 years until I had my surgery in 2017. It was a success and it’s been almost 2 years since my last seizure I’m very grateful for what he did for me
