William E. Thorell, MD - NEUROSURGERY CLINIC AT CLARKSON DOCTORS NORTH

Dr. William E. Thorell, a highly accomplished neurosurgeon, completed his medical education at the University of Nebraska College of Medicine. He further pursued his internship and residency at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Dr. William then undertook a fellowship in neurosurgery at the Cleveland Clinic Hospital. His specialized focus lies in vascular disorders of the central nervous system, including cerebral aneurysms surgery, Chiari malformation, vascular malformations, hydrocephalus, pseudotumor cerebri procedures, and vertebral artery procedures. Currently, he practices at the Neurosurgery Clinic at Clarkson Doctors North and also performs surgeries at Nebraska Medical Center. Dr. William has made significant contributions to the establishment of The Stroke and Neurovascular Center, an interdisciplinary medical team at the University of Nebraska Medical Center/Nebraska Medicine. He is affiliated with MercyOne Siouxland Medical Center, Siouxland Surgery Center, Nebraska Medicine-Nebraska Medical Center, and Nebraska Methodist Hospital.
