“Dr. Charles J. Taunt Jr. received his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the University of Osteopathic Medicine and Health Sciences, Des Moines. Dr. Charles finished his orthopedic surgery residency at St. John Oakland Hospital, Madison Heights, Michigan. He completed his Adult Reconstruction Fellowship at the University of Chicago, Chicago, Illinois. He is board-certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Orthopedic Surgery and has over 24 years of experience. Dr. Charles is committed to providing compassionate, quality care to his patients. He teaches other orthopedic surgeons at the state and national levels, lecturing frequently across the country on different aspects of hip and knee replacement surgery. Dr. Charles also serves as an Associate Clinical Professor of Surgery at Michigan State University and is actively teaching in the Michigan State University/ McLaren Greater Lansing orthopedic surgery residency program. He practices at Michigan Orthopedic Center. His practice focuses on achieving excellent patient outcomes in hip and knee replacement surgery.”
