cDr. Gregory D Carlson is a board-certified Orthopedic Surgery specialist who is a graduate of Loma Linda University. He is also a Clinical Assistant Professor of Orthopedics at the University of California, Irvine. Dr. Gregory has expertise in minimally invasive spinal surgery for rapid recovery. He diagnosis and repair of previously failed spinal surgeries, revision surgery, and artificial disc replacement and motion preservation techniques. He focuses on teaching residents and orthopedic surgeons, both locally and abroad. Dr. Gregory has published several scientific articles on both basic science and clinical topics, and lectures on spinal reconstructive topics.

Dr. Michael F Shepard graduated from the UCLA School of Medicine with AOA honors. He is a board-certified Orthopaedic Surgeon and subspecialty trained sports medicine physician. Dr. Michael has a special emphasis on the care of the overhead athlete and knee ligament reconstruction. He has expertise in the treatment of elbow and shoulder injuries of the overhead athlete and complex knee reconstruction. Dr. Michael served as a team orthopedic surgeon of the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim and overseeing the care of more than 500 professional baseball players in the organization. He participates in the care of athletes from the NFL, MLB, NHL, NBA, NCAA, US Olympic teams, and the PGA/LPGA tours. Dr. Michael has been the lead author on several publications regarding such topics as the generation of Labral Lesions in The Thrower’s Shoulder, Elbow Biomechanics, and The Diagnosis of Meniscal Injuries. He uses the latest medical technology to offer the best possible care to his patients.
