I had a very positive initial consultation with Dr Takenishi. He was polite, professional & efficient. He came prepared & it was evident he thoroughly reviewed my MRI results based on his comments & questions. He provided a range of treatment options, from a conservative to an invasive (surgery) procedure for my consideration. He shared pro & cons. This enabled me to make an informed decision & feel confident in doing so.

Dr. Takenishi is great. He is very professional and explains the pros and cons to you so you can get a clear understanding of your issues. Great surgeon and has excellent bedside manors. His staff are excellent as well. Overall great experience.

I had a very positive experience with having a total shoulder replacement surgery with Dr Matthew Tweet. He is very professional, knowledgeable, patient in explaining and answering questions, friendly, and calming and kind. My husband and I were both very impressed with my surgery experience. I was treated warmly when I checked in at the reception desk. When I was walked back to the pre-surgery room, the group of nurses at that area all welcome me warmly and said they were going take good care of me, which they did. Dr Tweet and the anesthetist, who was also fantastic, came in to see me and were very kind and explained everything and answered questions. Then when I was wheeled through the doors into surgery, the surgery team were all standing there clapping and welcoming me and also confirmed that they were going to take good care of me. I have had several surgeries over the years and this was definitely the best experience I could have hoped for.

Dr Tweet was easy to get an appointment, easy to talk to, explained EVERYTHING and went over options. We then decided on the best path forward with all questions asked. I was able to consult a couple shoulder specialists and Dr Tweet hands down was the best for my procedure. The staff the day of surgery were absolutely amazing. The anesthesiologist was absolutely fabulous and my block lasted 24+ hours and was perfect. The procedure was pretty quick and everything went smoothly. Follow-up was on point, went over everything and scheduled PT when it was time. I can’t say enough good things. Thank you Dr Tweet and all the Sutter staff that made my procedure smooth, easy and as painless as possible for a shoulder surgery, which is not easy and usually pretty painful. You are absolutely amazing people.

Dr. Tweet repaired my fully torn rotator cuff on 30th and I already have close to full use of my arm. I had my other shoulder replaced almost three years ago and still have a lot of pain. This time was just the opposite and I had no significant discomfort after the first three days. I know that sounds unbelievable but it's true. I've been recommending him to friends ever since and would give him more than five stars if I could.
