“Dr. Eric J. Olson received his medical degree from the Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in 1984. He completed his orthopedic residency at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. He has over 39 years of experience. His interests include shoulder, knee and hip arthroscopy and replacement surgery. He pioneered new surgical techniques in the Waterbury area, including arthroscopic rotator cuff repair in 1999 and total shoulder replacement in 2009. Dr. Eric J. Olson served in the US Army for four years as chief of Sports Medicine at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, D.C., and joined Waterbury Orthopaedic Associates in 1995. He practices at Waterbury Orthopaedic Associates and accepts new patients.”
