"Dr. Robert Edward Kennon received his medical degree from Emory University School of Medicine. He completed a general surgery internship at Yale-New Haven Hospital and a residency in orthopaedic surgery in the Department of Orthopaedics and Rehabilitation of the Yale University School of Medicine and Yale-New Haven Hospital in Connecticut. He completed his training with a prestigious fellowship in adult hip and knee reconstruction with the Keggi Orthopaedic Foundation. He is board-certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. He is a member of the Connecticut State Medical Society and the New Haven County Medical Association, as well as a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons. He has written numerous articles published in peer-reviewed journals, worked on implant design, and lectured on minimally invasive anterior hip replacement and knee replacement techniques.
2026 Highlights: Dr. Kennon has performed thousands of anterior approach total hip replacements, Birmingham hip resurfacings, and tourniquet-less minimally invasive total knee replacements. Dr. Kennon also sees patients in the Middlebury and Farmington offices. The clinic features private examination rooms, a rehabilitation gym, physical therapy, and occupational health services to support patient recovery."
