Several folks recommended OrthoVirginia physicians for my hip issues. I saw one ortho doctor and was examined and then given x-rays before being diagnosed with bone on bone arthritis in my hip, which would require surgery to repair. There was no pressure to schedule surgery immediately and I was told that it was my choice on when I’d like to take care of it; since I had a trip planned 4 months away I wanted to schedule soon so that I’d be pain free on vacation. However, this MD only performed posterior hip replacements so I requested a second physician to see if I’d be an acceptable candidate for an anterior approach. The process was seamless and no one made me feel awkward asking for another opinion. In fact all staff were encouraging and helpful. Dr. Ryan Robertson was my ortho surgeon and he was reassuring, informative and took time to educate me on the process. The required “Joint Camp” class was also very helpful and the accompanying notebook was a fantastic resource. I opted for an overnight stay after surgery. The specialized joint and spine unit nursing staff and therapists were excellent and personable. Loved having a private room, and even the hospital food was really good. There wasn’t one single procedure or encounter that didn’t exceed expectations.

I haven't felt this good in 10 years;My pain was debilitating and I was deteriorating fast. Dr. Oley and Nicole B are wonderful Doctors. I am so grateful. I will continue to be treated for my pain with these physicians at OrthoVa. I am in good hands and am beyond thrilled to not be in a wheelchair.

I was nervous and anxious about a back procedure I needed. Dr Oley and his staff answered all my questions in a professional and personable manner. I truly felt cared for before, during and after the back procedure.

I've had 2 C-spine epidural injections with Dr. Barsanti. I put it off for years because I was nervous (I'm an RN and fully aware of possible complications however unlikely). I found him to be very personable, straightforward about the procedure, how likely it was to be effective, and how long it could last, all of those details. The procedure itself went better than I expected and he was clearly very careful and competent. The nursing staff also demonstrated expertise, made me feel comfortable and put me at ease.

Dr. Barsanti is wonderful, personable and professional. His staff are great! I could go on and on but if you're having back pain this is the doctor to see.

I don’t know how Dr Barsanti, or his staff, could ever get anything other than 5 star reviews. I find Dr Barsanti to be engaging, informative, knowledgeable and kind. His staff has been attentive and thoughtful.

All the staff iand nurses are very friendly and very helpful. Dr Seemsn is also very friendly and caring. He's also very thorough and is working with me always to find the best ways to mitigate my chronic pain. He's willing to listen and make any necessary changes in meds that he thinks will be beneficial. Dr Seeman is also a very patient and peaceful doctor.

There is never a long wait time for your scheduled appointment. The office staff are always very friendly and professional. When I’m experiencing a lot of pain going in, I always feel better when I leave. My husband & I are seniors and have been patients of Dr. Seeman’s office for many years. He really keeps us moving without a lot of pain.

I've been a patient here for a number of years and am so grateful for the help and relief provided. I had my first encounter with Dr. Seeman recently and was impressed with the insights he provided about a condition that was really bothering me.
