Pastels Painting CO

I started a DIY painting job in an interior bedroom in my home. Easy peasy, I had painted plenty of rooms in homes that I have owned in the past. I’m not a professional, but I am a perfectionist, and I have always been satisfied with my work when finished. Back to our current project small interior bedroom. I patched, I washed the walls, I taped everything off. I bought my paint. I won’t say where, but I was lured in by the price, but 1 get the other 50% off. My son had just painted his room using this paint and it came out nicely. I had picked out a soft yellow that I was putting over, the blue that was on the walls, and an even darker blue on the trim. I cut in and then rolled. The outcome was a disaster. I had what’s known as hatbanding or a halo effect everywhere I cut in. Basically, where I cut in was much darker than what I was able to get on the walls with my roller. They also painted my bedroom and our living room ceiling, and it all look great! They did an awesome job!! They cleaned up after themselves, very friendly and accommodating and professional work I highly recommend Pastels painting co.
