FRANK PEPE PIZZERIA NAPOLETANA REVIEWS

Went in the middle of the afternoon during the week and service was fast and courteous. The pizza was excellent. I’m usually more of a New York, thicker style pizza but the thin crust pizza at Frank Pepe’s has won me over. Had one with pepperoni and some hot peppers and it was delicious. Had a few other varieties in the past and all have been great. Whenever I’m in CT, Frank Pepe’s is always on the agenda.

Redefines what an amazing pizza is. Charcoal oven cooks crust to crispy perfection. The marinara on the Margarita was amazing!! White Clam Pizza was so unique. We had 5 small pizzas for a family of six and went home with a box which continued the feast into breakfast.

Excellent service from Carissa and Pepe's staff! Their pizzas have never disappointed us. We will be back, soon.

Best pizza in the city. Pizza that reminds me of when I was living in NYC. I got a classic cheese pie with garlic knots. The pizza was done perfectly with a nice crust. The cheese and cause had a nice flavor. Also prices are very affordable 16 bucks for a large pie Definitely will visit back and will try the pepperoni next.

Dominick and Pia served a hot, fresh, and full of vegetable pizza. It was delivered hot and fresh from the oven to our table. A mouthwatering onion, mushroom, tomatoes, broccoli, and green and red pepper, and olives. The best pizza in the city of Waterbury!!! Connecticut. Kudos to the great pizza tradition.

I finally got my favorite pie from them!!! Take a look!!! Super yummy!!!.

SPARTAN RESTAURANT AND BAR REVIEWS

I've been going to Spartans for over a decade. It's a staple in Waterbury. Both the dining side and bar side are clean and are filled with great staff. I enjoy their food as well. The Spartan Burger is a solid choice, and they also have a steady rotation of different specials. You can't go wrong here if you'd like just a pizza too.

This place has a great big bar with seating around it where you'd want to be a regular. There's also a quieter dining room. The food is pretty good here when it comes to wraps and burgers. I recently ordered a French onion soup that was too salty to eat, but everything else was great. And good pizza.

Have had many different pizzas there & every one was delicious! Staff was attentive & very accommodating. Especially on my visits with a large group.
