The best of the best. My husband and i travel SO much and try SO many restaurants and i have to say that this is one of our favorite Italian restaurant. Top notch food. So authentic and delicious. very hospitable staff. They have such good knowledge of their menu. They are friendly and welcoming. Great ambience. They have pictures and paintings hung all over the wall that are beautiful to look at (they are for sale btw). They have a winery. Definitely worth a try.

Lovely time at this restaurant! They went above and beyond to accommodate my indecisiveness with meals, and they did a half order of one of the pasta dishes for me! Love the paintings all around, and the wine cellar is so cool to see under foot as you are walking in.

The food is phenomenal ! And to make the place even more interesting the art on the walls is unbelievable.

The food is great! We always get uber eats. I told them about my dairy allergy and they wrote this note. It’s so amazing when restaurants go after every detail.

Love my San Marino's. Been around a long time because their food is consistently good. My main dishes are the Chicken Milanese, which is to die for with the crispy rosemary and I always get the Escarole and Bean appetizer. The appetizer itself is a meal! Love their frozen raviolis to-go (try the broccoli raab and sausage w/ a white sauce *chef's kiss*).

San Marino is one of those places where You can always get a delicious meal.They are a staple in the City of Waterbury. I've been coming here for years and never gotten a bad meal or drink for that matter. They have Banquet rooms for larger get togethers or celebrations and a full size bar.

DIORIO RESTAURANT & BAR REVIEWS

This restaurant is definitely worth your time. Looks good, service is good and the food is excellent. I had the carpaccio, made with shaved filet mignon, very well prepared. Both the scarpariello and the shrimp scampy were very good. Drinks were good, and the beer was cold. Everyone there was nicely dressed, and no one was loud. I like a quiet place.

One of the best dinners I’ve ever had!! Best lobster bisque. Best calamari. Pasta dishes are TOP TIER. The drink/wine selection is extensive and staff is excellent. Servers are prompt and ready to answer any question. If you’re looking for a sign to visit Diorio, THIS IS IT!!! My wife and I celebrated our first wedding anniversary here. CHEERS.

We are new to the area and Diorio’s quickly become our favorite date night go-to! Food is amazing and the entire staff is fantastic!! JT is the absolute best!! Highly recommend.
