Luca's Pizzeria

This was my first visit to Luca's pizzeria and I thought I would try a traditional crust with sausage. I'm from Chicago and I understand that this is New York style pizza, so I decided to try some. The crust, cheese and sauce were flavorful and delicious, the only issue I had with the pizza was the ground up pieces of sausage not evenly distributed which didn't compliment the pizza in my opinion. Maybe next time I'll try pepperoni or another item on the menu.

We picked up two pizzas tonight that were awesome. One was sausage and salami, the other half cheese, half pepperoni. We asked for well done and they were perfect. The crust was thin and crispy. The toppings go almost to the edge. It's a great place run by a local family with multiple members working there.

Called in a pickup order here and they were great. Ordered a Margarita pizza and must say... one of the best in town. Excellent food. High quality ingredients and very enjoyable. I'm sure I'll be back.
