The museum’s mission is to introduce kids to the “World of Learning” through hands-on creative and interactive exhibits, workshops, and special events. At this children’s museum, children will develop cultural curiosity, strengthen their imagination, and nurture their creativity. The Children’s Museum of Brownsville creates a positive atmosphere and a clean environment for children and families to grow and learn. You can host your next birthday party with them, bring a group on a field trip, or register a play date with friends. Free admission is available for children under one year.

It has the exhibit of art work and it provides educational programs for kids and adults. Brownsville Museum of Fine Art encourages/develops appreciation advancement of art throughout the city. Visitors will enjoy viewing traveling exhibits as well as art from their permanent collection and local artists. The museum is designed to be available for its variety of guests, where patrons are accommodated to the greatest degree possible. Brownsville Museum of Fine Art was designed as the front entrance wheelchair-ramp, a wheelchair-accessible double door entry, specially designated restroom stall with assisting handrails, even-level flooring throughout the building. Free admission is available for kids under 6.
