River Bend Golf Course is located near the Texas–Mexico border, about 45 miles from McAllen, and is within reach of South Padre Island and nearby regional attractions, making it suitable for both local players and visitors. The course is operated by the Barnard Family and has a history of long-term stewardship. Practice facilities include a driving range and putting green, available daily, along with a friendly environment for golfers of all skill levels to improve their game and connect with other players. Instruction focuses on swing analysis, short game skills, course management, shot selection, and golf rules and etiquette. The club offers an annual 12-month membership with unlimited golf, access to practice facilities, advanced tee time booking, member-only events, and a 10% discount on merchandise. Golf cart usage is guided by course rules to ensure safety and proper course maintenance."
