This zoo is amazing. The venue is huge and they have lots of exhibits with a variety of animals. Cincinnati Zoo isn't just your typical lions, tigers, and bears park, some very rare animals live here too. The reptile and nocturnal animal houses are great. I loved seeing the red pandas, polar bear, matinees, and various cats. I'd also recommend visiting around the winter holidays for the Festival of Lights. The zoo is absolutely beautiful with thousands of lights and holiday displays.

I love that everything in this museum can be traced back to Cincinnati. The Museum of Natural History gives you a look at what sort of creatures roamed the Cincinnati area during prehistoric times. The Cincinnati History Museum brings to life the story of how Cincinnati was founded and how it grew. Union Terminal itself is oozing with Cincinnati history. It's not hard to imagine it as a bustling train station.

I absolutely love this museum. We came on free admission Thursday to see the Van Gogh exhibit. I've been here before but I'm not sure if I ever realized how lucky we are to have such a gorgeous museum here in Cincinnati. The Van Gogh exhibit alone was absolutely beautiful, even the gallery wall color (lavender!) was so cool. The actual museum is so cool, my mother said she couldn't believe she wasn't in Chicago or New York. The kids' area is so fun, it changes with the exhibits.
