3 Best Places To See in Cincinnati, OH

This place is totally cool!!!! It's the train terminal and the inside is sweet. We didn't have time to take in all the museums, but we did go the the T. Rex IMAX show. It like being in a movie theater except the screen is actually half a sphere. You may have trouble if you suffer from motion sickness. I'm excited to go back this summer to do the museums and The Holocaust exhibition.

Beautiful Art Deco building! Fantastic museum experience! We went as a date and were worried about too many children being around, but that was not our experience. The different sections offered very different experiences! It was so much fun! Would definitely recommend the free architecture/history tour offered almost hourly on Friday-Sunday.

Awesome!!! Is a great weekend or weekday trip. Extraordinarily priced. Do yourself a favor and do It all. For just under twenty dollars, you can't go wrong. There are so many things I would love to say, but I won't spoil it.Take my word and take your family.

For those of you who follow us, know that we love to go to museums and historic sites. We're very excited to go to the Cincinnati art museum. The most impressive part of the art museum for us was the amount of antiquities the museum has. There the first floor is primarily ancient antiquities from Egypt, Greece, Rome, Africa, Japanese, Chinese and ancient Sumerian just to name a few. It is a very impressive collection. As well as the antiquities, the art collection is quite stunning! I personally liked Van Gogh the best but I'm partial to Van Gogh. My co-author and co-reviewer liked the Egyptian exhibit the best. His most favorite pieces in the Egyptian exhibit were the statues of the gods. The museum also has a restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. The only complaint my co-author had was the size of the museum and trying to make it in one day. I would recommend taking 2 days to fully see the museum. The Cincinnati art museum charges no entrance fee. They usually have a visiting exhibit that does have a small fee. However, the museum itself is so big, if you've never been there, it will take all your time just to get through the general collection.

I went to the Cincinnati Art Museum on Saturday to see the exhibition of Ansel Adams photographs. It was a day with free entry to the museum. The Ansel Adams exhibition was busy. I had to wait a couple of minutes before entering. Once inside the crowd moved slowly with no pushing. There was plenty of time to see the photographs properly and read the blurbs. After seeing the exhibition, I decided to explore the museum. I spent a couple of hours and I only managed to see the European and American Art. There was a lot to see and the blurbs were detailed! After spending three hours I was a bit tired and didn't see the rooms downstairs with art from the Far East, South Asia, the Middle East, etc. I will have to go back again for sure! P.S. I read on the website that normally the entry is $12 at the door or $10 in advance online.
