AQUARIUM OF THE PACIFIC REVIEWS
The Aquarium of the Pacific is a great place to visit, even in times of covid. The staff was beyond friendly, the exhibits and shows are all back in action, and being there almost made things feel "normal" again. Still, a great place for kids to visit, and all animals seem to have missed human contact because they were all upfront hamming it up for the people. Make to try and grab reservations for tickets online before going to make it as easy as possible.
Great aquarium! Such a fun place to visit and all social distancing protocols are in place. We absolutely love this aquarium!
What a great way to spend the afternoon with someone you love. Just walking around the exhibits and taking in such awe of God's beautiful creatures. A must for a family with kids of all ages

MUSEUM OF LATIN AMERICAN ART REVIEWS
Every time I go to the LA area I enjoy the cutting-edge exhibits at MOLAA. In Sept., 2018+, this was literally true as one of their special shows was on LA tattoos. In addition to the naval connection to LA and the international roots of this body art, various local artists' works were displayed. Also, one section had videos of various people selected who would receive tattoos on specified days during the exhibit. In addition, works by two female Latino artists were shown. And do step outside in the walled-in back courtyard where sculpture and cacti are displayed together. Currently, the outside café is closed for renovations. Free parking is available in the adjacent lot, and do stop into the museum shop that has gifts related to current exhibits. And enjoy free admission on Sundays thanks to Target.
The current tattoo exhibit is especially incredible, with very personal stories, and moving representations of those stories being tattooed onto the people sharing their experiences. If you have the chance to check it out before it wraps, you absolutely should. The rest is also good. Incredibly reasonable ticket prices as well.
Great for kids. Free on Sundays. Sometimes they'll have cool activities like arts and crafts for the kids

LONG BEACH MUSEUM OF ART REVIEWS
The museum is a quaint place to visit it took us about 45 mins to look at their displays with Matisse as the featured artist. They have a view of the beach on their 2nd floor and the ground floor have children’s art and a small working studio for an artist. We enjoyed the visit and the beautiful grounds. They have a restaurant overlooking the beach but check before you go if they are open. Friday’s is half off admission. Thankful for the museums.
I passed through ocean boulevard all the time I never knew there was a Long Beach Museum of arts. It was such an amazing experience to share this with my daughter and her friends from high school. there is so much art and history there is amazing and I definitely recommend this to all the art lovers.
