Montgomery Zoo is located from the heart of the state capitol and historic district. It includes more than 500 animals from five continents, all housed in barrier-free natural habitats. The Zoo occupies over 40 perfectly landscaped acres and provides a superb view of rare animals and endangered species. While visiting the Zoo, don't forget to visit the Mann Museum. The center is home to over 275 nature habitats, including fresh and saltwater fish, birds, and insects in North America. It also houses over 70 exhibits mounted on a life-size scale. The museum exhibits are special in that, with special conditions, the visitor can observe the exhibition from three directions. Visitors can also observe the natural sounds of the various North American animals.

Montgomery Museum of Fine Arts provides compelling human creativity-centered experiences valued for their contributions to the individual well-being of their citizens and visitors, and the rising, collective vibration of the City, County, and Region. This is the oldest museum of fine arts and was Alabama's first museum to be approved by the American Museum Alliance in June 1978. A significant part of the educational program is ARTWORKS; an interactive gallery is crafted to view objects from the permanent collection through hands-on displays. A year, the ARTWORKS gallery draws more than 60,000 visitors. Admission to the Montgomery Museum of Fine Arts is free.

The Hank Williams Museum is a treasure for the City of Montgomery and the State of Alabama. It pays tribute to the life and accomplishments of this glorious hero whose names endure in a manner special in the history of music. The Hank Williams Museum is 6000 sq ft Museum, the house Hank's 1952 Baby Blue Cadillac in which he made his last voyage along with suits, caps, hats, shoes, medals, chairs, saddle horses, photographs, documents, albums and more. You can see that all the objects are genuine when you go through the Museum.
