The Arboretum features plant collections and gardens amid natural landscapes of woodlands, prairie, lakes, and streams. The Morton Arboretum covers 1,700 acres, 222,000 plant specimens representing 4,500 different plants, specialty gardens, educational exhibits, an award-winning Children’s Garden, and 16 miles of hiking trails.
