After going to another hair salon for years, I booked a haircut consultation with Julie. I was nervous because I wanted a drastic change from my usual haircut. My hair was damaged, too long, and had not been cut properly for years. When I came into the consultation, Julie was exceptional. She KNOWS hair. My hair is wavy and she went in detail what type of haircut and length would best suit my face shape, texture of hair, and even my height! I was greatly impressed by her hair knowledge and level of professionalism. I booked my haircut the next day. The staff was friendly and competent and the overall atmosphere of the salon was relaxing and positive. There was never a time where Julie had to leave my haircut to attend to another client (which has happened in the past at another salon) and the shampoo process was gentle and calming. Julie did a beautiful job and her expertise and hair knowledge is evident. I love my haircut! If you want your hair to be healthy and beautiful I would highly suggest booking a consultation with Julie who will tailor your haircut to your specific needs and not just what is trending on social media. Julie never pushed products on me and instead gave me tips on what I could do at home to maintain my hair health. Zano Salon should be voted the Best Hair Salon in Naperville and Julie is fantastic!

Melba did my hair, she was so respectful and professional and created great accomodations for me because I wear a hijab. She listened and made my vision come to life for what I wanted with my hair and gave me advice on how to take care of it! Everybody was so sweet as well.

Wonderful salon! I get my hair done by Natali B., and she ALWAYS makes me look beautiful and feel so special! Highly recommend. She’s super knowledgeable and kind. If you ever want to get a fun color OR just add something cool to your hair - she’s the one. I got my hair colored by her. And my new favorite thing ever - she put tinsel in my hair. Tinsel was an ABSOLUTE HIT! Especially with kids :) Amber waves never disappoints.

I had one of the best salon experiences ever — all thanks to Natalia!!!! She was so sweet and understanding. I came in traumatized from a past haircut at another salon, and Natalia truly healed my hair trauma lol. She did an amazing job, and I walked out feeling so beautiful! It was my first time at this salon and my first time meeting Natalia, and I already booked two future appointments with her. Trust me when I say she will get you right — I mean it. If it’s your first time, I highly recommend Natalia!

Absolutely loved the experience of having a blow dry at Amber Waves! Great service and experience! Beautifully designed interior has a welcoming and friendly vibe as you walk in. Service was top of the line and the stylist Elissa was very personable and did a great job with the blow dry. They went the extra mile and offered Prosecco while I had the blow dry service - yes please! Will be definitely coming back!
